Most people's view of history, or social studies, from public school experience is that it is dry, boring and full of a bunch of meaningless dates. As a result, the children of America have little knowledge of their great past. They don't know how our country was founded, what great men risked their lives for our freedom, and most regrettably, they don't know about our spiritual heritage.
During our homeschooling years, it was difficult to find quality history books that told the true story of history. Many companies carried limited history resources and it was hard to find those places that specialized in history. History is an easily censored subject, due to the fact that it is next to impossible to write history that is totally unbiased. A writer's perspective is directly influenced by their worldview, whether it is a good or bad worldview. Today, it continues to be difficult to find history books that are not revised or censored and retain the Christian influence and heritage of our past.
To counter this dilemma, we began a quest for quality history books. We preview every book we sell to maintain our vision and mission of providing only books that have retained a true, Christian worldview.
